I compile Xorg server from xorg-server-source-hwe-18.04_1.20.8-2ubuntu2.2~18.04.1_all.deb on Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS but the result files are extremely big compared to Ubuntu's own, 20-25 times bigger. I tried to disable modules and others and used -Os flag with no success. Even the smallest libraries like libglamoregl.so become 4.8M instead of 0.2M. I compared symbol tables but there is no big differences.
How could Ubuntu compile so small results from this package? I tried other packages from packages.ubuntu.com to Bionic with same result.
