Hi,
I have some problems with GDAL since the last (?) Ubuntu update. I
simply can't use it anymore, and every program using GDAL crashes.
Calling e.g. _gdalinfo_ on the command line simply results in a message
which translates to:
invalid machine command (memory dump written)
When I look into /var/log/kern.log I see entries like:
Dec 20 10:20:14 pc-frank kernel: [ 8794.544054] qgis[11975] trap invalid
opcode ip:7feced55312e sp:7fff159ad898 error:0 in
libgdal.so.1.16.1[7fececd32000+b10000]
Dec 20 10:28:13 pc-frank kernel: [ 9273.363613] python[12580] trap
invalid opcode ip:7f9bced2512e sp:7fffb97ab3a8 error:0 in
libgdal.so.1.16.1[7f9bce504000+b10000]
Any help is greatly appreciated,
