Beside ubuntugis-unstable, the marlam/gta PPA is used and pgdg 9.4, even the chrome repo seems to be enabled. Can the travis environment easily be recreated or an interactive session started? That would be helpful to troubleshoot the build environment. I see nothing problematic in the Packages files for the ubuntugis-unstable, marlam/gta nor pgdg repositories that can explain the issue you experience. A bunch of unrelated packages in the trusty series still depend on libgdal1h in the ubuntugis-unstable PPA, but those are not part of the installed set.
