Nautilus 3.24 has been uploaded to Ubuntu 17.10. It is no longer
possible to keep the interactive-search patch working.
Therefore, you'll need to remove these lines from budgie-desktop-
environment.gsettings-override or else you will get orders whenever
gsettings schemas are compiled:
[org.gnome.nautilus.preferences]
sort-directories-first=true
enable-interactive-search=true
I think you want to add this (Nautilus now uses this setting too):
[org.gtk.Settings.FileChooser]
sort-directories-first = true
