Status in Ubuntu Kylin: New Status in ubuntu-budgie-meta package in Ubuntu: Fix Released Status in ubuntukylin-meta package in Ubuntu: New Bug description: I dropped this change when merging the latest version of libcanberra from Debian: gnome-session-canberra recommends libcanberra-pulse Sound effects still seemed to work without libcanberra-pulse when I tried it, but I'm guessing it's better if the package is installed. gnome-control-center and unity-control-center recommend libcanberra- pulse. ubuntu-mate-core depends on libcanberra-pulse. I suggest that ubuntukylin-desktop recommend libcanberra-pulse. Also, I think Ubuntu Budgie will eventually switch to a replacement for gnome-control-center so maybe it would be useful for ubuntu- budgie-desktop to recommend libcanberra-pulse too.
