I am using Pidgin 2.5.8. I have enabled "Log all status changed to system log". Whenever a buddy signs off, immediately the system log shows that they buddy has become idle. Guess this is a bug in the new version wherein sign off is being counted as idle. Hope to get rid of this soon.
