Hello Reader, I have intel G31 motherboard with 2GB RAM . I have installed Ubuntu 9.04 on my system. My system was working very well with this configuration including the ethernet interface. On one day, I saw my internet not working. So I tried 'ifconfig'. But it didnt show eth0 interface. So I went to init level 1 by 'telinit 1'. There I selected ~ 'root login with networking' and my eth0 got detected. However I have no such problem on m Windows Vista which I have made available through dual boot.
