New question #76412 on Ubuntu:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/76412
No Wifi with Intel Corporation 4965AGN WLan interface on Ubuntu 9.04 kernel
2.6.28-13 with the latest updates.
It doesn't work also on Kubuntu 9.04, kernel 2.6.28-13 but it works on Kubuntu
9.04, kernel 2.6.24-24 and Win XP SP3.
I also use the application RutilT Wlan Manager without any success. The status
of the wlan interface is "disconnected" and currently down. If I try to bring
it up I receive the message "Critical error: Can't read in socket. Code:4"
If this helps, below is the output of iwconfig, lshw -C Network commands and
kernel log.
