New question #76517 on Ubuntu:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/76517
I have been running Ubuntu 8.10 on my Dell Inspiron 531 for a long time. No
when I attempt to boot into Ubuntu I received an error I receive the following
messages:
BootPart 2.60 Bootsector (c) 1993 - 2005 Gilles Vollant
http://www.winimage.com/ . . .
Loading New Partition
Bootsector from C. H. Hochstatter
BOOTMGR missing
Press Ctl-Alt-Del to restart
I believe that when Windows applied an update it corrupted by duel boot. How
can I restore my Ubuntu start up?
