gazzam proposed the following answer: I am a new user of Ubuntu and, Evolution was already installed onto my new computer. I can't get the email side to work. I am using firefox, and that works ok. I am getting a message "broken Pipe". Don't understand what that is. I also downloaded "thunderbird" but can't get it up on the desktop.
