Question #76538 on Ubuntu changed:

Status: Open => Answered
X-MS-Patriot proposed the following answer:
You may download the self booting ISO file & burn it to a DVD or CD if
it fits. Then set your BIOS to boot from CD/DVD first. Insert the CD/DVD
into your drive, reboot your Comp from the CD/DVD & follow the
directions to install on your HD. It automatically installs Ubuntu and
creates a Menu that enabled me to select Ubuntu, Win XP, MemTest, etc.
Best of luck!
