Hi, I have recently installed ubuntu in place of vista and i must say that the entire process went without a glitch. I have two issues pertaining to java and ubuntu as follows (cropped as i am an addict of funkysnooker.com) 1. I first installed java 5, but firefox didnt recognize. Then i installed java 6, thinking it would update automatically. Now the issue is that when i type "java -version" in terminal it shows version 5, and the firefox browser (through java site) conveys java 6. How do i uninstall one version and which should i ? 2. funkysnooker.com is an online java game, and used to run perfectly on vista. But in ubuntu, there is a big lag in the graphics which makes it impossible to play the game. The cursor movement lags is lagging in bits. Can someone guide me in solving this issue ?
