New question #76604 on Ubuntu: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/76604
I am running Jaunty in amd64. This morning I turned on my computer and used the firefox 3.0.11 web browser. Everything was normal. I closed the browser and left the computer for about one hour. When I returned to the computer and opened the browser, up popped a box asking me if I wanted to import bookmarks, settings, etc., from Mozilla Netscape, etc. I clicked cancel and up popped the firefox browser window to the default firefox home page. All my settings and bookmarks were gone. It was like a brand you installation of firefox had occured. What happened? There was noone else here and I did nothing to set off this kind of behaviour. Has anyone else experienced such behaviour? What could have happened? -- You received this question notification because you are a member of UF Unanswered Posts Team, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
