Question #75982 on firefox-3.0 in ubuntu changed:

Roberto M. is still having a problem:
Sorry to bother you again, but it seems that I am missing something very basic.
The keyserver.ubuntu.com does not respond when I try to access it via terminal
(i.e. when I type sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys
A6DCF7707EBC211F).
If I try to reach it using Firefox (typing keyserver.ubuntu.com as a URL), I
receive a time out message.
If I ping keyserver.ubuntu.com it seems that the server is reached.
Is it possible the some settings of my firmware firewall (I'm using an
Atlantis-Land Router that has its own firewall) prevents
a correct execution of sudo apt-key adv --keyserve .....
Thank you again, Roberto.
