Tom proposed the following answer: Perhaps try following the whole guide for sorting all your multimedia https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Medibuntu Perhaps going all Free might be good although i suspect it's happening because you have a mixture of both free and non-free flash-players. To check this out you can use Synaptic Package Manager https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SynapticHowto to look for "flash player" and see what packages have been installed so far.
