MichalR is still having a problem:
Thanks for the answer Derek. I am afraid it is a bad news for me,
because I have already tried Gwget, Aria, wxDownload Fast, MultiGet,
DownThemAll!, KGet, aria2, wget and axel. And Downloader for X (d4x) was
the closest thing to the Free Download Manager (FDM) I was able to find.
