Description changed to: I'd like to sync my contacts and calendar on Evolution with a mobile phone-cum-organiser. I gave up my attempts to do this with my Sony- Ericsson K750i back in March when it became hopelessly complicated and unintelligible; although I'm a software developer I'm very much a newbie with linux so instructions to just type stuff on a command line with no explanation leave me stranded once I hit problems. I'm now considering changing the hardware and am considering the Nokia E63* but I don't want to go ahead if I can't be sure that it will do what I want. Has anyone succeeded in getting this phone to sync with Evolution calendar and contacts under Ububtu? I'm running 32-bit 8.04 I've had a look at the gnokii and gammu sites but the info on there doesn't seem to include this model - or anything encouraging about the alternative below. *Another option suggested by my service provider was the Nokia 6220.
