Ok, first thing is to make a backup copy of this file in case editing it
goes wrong - so into the terminal console type in
ls
cp menu.lst menu.lst.140709
ls
note the "ls" is a lower-case "LS" and gives a LiSt of what's in the
directory. The command "cp" will make a CoPy of "menu.lst" and will give
the copy the name "menu.lst.140709"
