1. Can you post the lspci command and paste the output?
2. Why do u need the madwifi driver? Doesn't your card work on Jaunty by
default?
3. Can you test it with Jaunty (or Karmic) liveCD to see if it works?
4. On the installed system, can you check to see if insided System>
Administration>Hardware drivers list your wifi card there?
