Below is a list of the firefox.sh files: d...@don-laptop:/usr/bin$ ls -l fire* lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 11 2009-07-15 10:33 firefox -> firefox-3.0 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 32 2009-07-15 10:33 firefox-3.0 -> ../lib/firefox-3.0.12/firefox.sh lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 29 2009-07-15 21:00 firefox-3.5 -> ../lib/firefox-3.5/firefox.sh As you can see, the same problem exists, since firefox still links to firefox-3.0 instead of the firefox-3.5 bash scripot.
