IP address: I forget how you get it in the GUI (maybe hover over the network
connection icon on the desktop?), but if you go to a terminal, type
"ifconfig -a", and it will be in the information it gives you.
Wine: What are you trying to use it for? It probably won't help with your
camera: I suggest you start by plugging it in and seeing if it works.
