I am trying to recover my Ubuntu-8.10 Wubi Install on a Window Vista machine. I am attempting to uninstall and to reinstall, then use my old C:\Ubuntu directory. I really need my files, e-mail and web favorites from my existing install. I get an error on my uninstall, Attempting to delete: C:\ Windows\System32\bcdedit.exe /delete, System cannot find the file specified. This file is not in this directory. I also have the log file that contains additional details. Can anyone point me in a direction. I am desperate to get my system back. Thanks for any help you can provide.
