Downloaded Ubuntu upgrade from 8.04 to 8.10... Download went smoothly but froze on restart of system. Tried recovery option and repair broken packages option but still freezes. Think maybe should have answered keep configuration instead of upgrade when this question appeared during the download? Would that be the problem?
