No, i've been trying to avoid that but it might help to do some routine
maintenanceon the update manager. Try going up to the top taskbar and
click on
Applications - Accessories - Terminal
and into the terminal/command window/console type
apt-get -h
the -h tag is useful for getting a quick cheat-sheet on how to use a
command. All the different linux distros, not just Ubuntu have this
feature.
apt-get clean
apt-get autoclean
apt-get check
That should hopefully de-clutter you update manager and you should be
able to complete that 3.5 update just one last time and then be free of
it *fingers crossed*. That was interesting that Shiretoko is Firefox
Development branch :)
