New question #77397 on Ubuntu:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/77397

I have just installed the new Ubuntu 9.04, and I was previously using Windows
XP. Everything works fine except I can't connect to wireless networks. Ubuntu's
support at https://help.ubuntu.com/9.04/internet/C/connecting-wireless.html
states that I should "Under Wireless Network click the radio button next to the
network you want to connect to". However, there is no list of wireless networks
and there are no "radio" buttons! Wireless internet worked fine on Windows XP
with no problems.

p.s. I may be looking in the wrong place, but I go to "Wireless" like Ubuntu's
help says.

Thank you for any help!
