Tom proposed the following answer: Err, i found the instructions a little tricky so please keep asking questions and lets try to work out how to do this. You do have a dual-boot of some kind but it's unclear exactly how that's set-up. When you get the menu offering a choice between Windows and Ubuntu is there only 1 choice for Ubuntu or are there quite a few?
