Question #76415 on Ubuntu changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/76415
Mark Rijckenberg proposed the following answer: Hi, You can also connect the pc to the router using an ethernet cable and then install wicd to replace NetworkManager. Here are the commands to install wicd: sudo aptitude update sudo aptitude install wicd After installing wicd, reboot into an older Ubuntu kernel and then retest wireless scanning of the 3 hotspots using wicd. Hope it helps, Regards, Mark -- You received this question notification because you are a member of UF Unanswered Posts Team, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
