thanks for your time, and i am sure that what you sent me will do the trick,
but as i mentioned in my first thread...i am the newest of newbies! my
knowledge of computers in limited to dragging the arrow and right or left
clicking. so, can i convince you to take a couple of minutes and really dumb
the answer down to my level??
also, i am doubly cursed...first with my before-mentioned lack of computer
knowledge, but secondly by a lack of a computer screen. by using a bended
paperclip, i can get my laptop screen to flash on for a couple of seconds. i
do this over and over while trying to right click/left click to transition to
the tv screen.
the good news is that i had this computer displaying on my tv before. i had it
working with windows, and i'm hoping i can do the same thing with ubuntu.
