Unless it is a secutity-bug... maybe you will have to wait until the next
Versions of Ubuntu. (Karmic or even later)
I'm following a bug that is in Ubuntu for years and fixed by upstream
(The real upstram, not Debian) also years ago.
Sometimes it's pain.
