naschas confirmed that the question is solved:
Ok, I have mounted the drive, and got an error when trying to copy. Had
to change the permissions on my back-up folder and now the files are
busy copying!
Thanks to everyone for your help, learnt alot about permissions from
this! It will come in handy!
I will mark this thread as solved!
