Question #77397 on Ubuntu changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/77397
GK proposed the following answer: Hi Mark, Having tried on all of the scripts you have suggested. I included also the madwifi as per your other instructions above, but I did not succeed being hooked up wireless with my built-in adapter. A suggestion from another blog: "install Linux-backports-modules-jaunty" did not work out either. However somebody succeded with "install Linux-backports-modules-intrepid" in the former distribution. Thank you very much though for all your endeavours in helping to find any appropriate driver solution working with the Atheros adapter. I think I'm going shopping for an USB stick as for now that will work so far as I've learned. best regards Guenter -- You received this question notification because you are a member of UF Unanswered Posts Team, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
