Question #77687 on nautilus in ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+question/77687
Larry Jordan proposed the following answer:
Also worthy of mention is the xscreensaver can do slide shows as a
screensaver. GL has a slide show screensaver as well, and may be installed by
default on your Ubuntu, but not sure how to configure it.
Further, if you're talking about a PRESENTATION, OpenOffice's Impress can
do a slide show presentation (much like PowerPoint does for Windows users).
