Question #77977 on dpkg in ubuntu changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dpkg/+question/77977
Tom proposed the following answer: When sudo asks for a password it wants your normal user password, not your SuperUser/Root one. Err, i think you've already got this but just in case ... Please go up to the top taskbar and click on Applications - Accessories - Terminal and into the terminal/command window/console type in sudo dpkg --configure -a and key in your normal user password. If it gives you any output then please copy & paste that into here so we can have a look at what's going wrong. Good luck and regards from Tom :) -- You received this question notification because you are a member of UF Unanswered Posts Team, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
