Question #78095 on Ubuntu changed:
https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/78095

    Status: Answered => Open

Rodney is still having a problem:
The output of the sudo lshw | grep dvd was
PCI (sysfs)
but it did not stay on the screen long enough to get a copy, was overwritten
with home address after about a second or two of being displayed. Thanks
