Please provide some details about your computer hardware. Run this
command in a terminal window (Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal) ,
and copy the output into this discussion.
lspci | grep -i "audio"
Any additional information about the make and model of your computer,
and any modifications you might have would be helpful as well.
