Tom posted a new comment: Nicely done, congrats :)))) I think the disk test you did with Ubuntu tested the Cd rather than the hard-drive ;) Next time feel free to ask first and explore later, as long as you post the answer in here as soon as you find it! That helps build up the knowledge base in our "Solved Answers" database. heheheheh That helps because when someone in the future has a similar problem launchpad does a quick search of the database and lists the top 10 most similar questions.
