Mmm i'm not sure about what might be happening, but maybe you can find some
clue by going to system-->administration-->software origins or something like
that.
In the "third party software" tab, I have the address
"http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu";. Check also the other tabs and see if you
can find anythig wrong.
