Roman Azarenko aka BasicXP gave more information on the question:
1) Ubuntu 8.10, which was automatically upgraded to 9.04
2) I do this in system settings (button "Preview" or "Play" or something like
that...
3) No *.ogg files are properly played
4) Other formats of video and/or audio work perfect
