9.10 will probably look pretty much the same by default.
However, you can customise your ubuntu installations look by going to
System->Preferences->Appearance
other Themes can be downloaded from gnome-look.org
or, you may wish to try Kubuntu, which uses an entirely different from
end from Ubuntu
