It can be. This is EXACTLY why MD5 checks exist. You get many people simply
downloading an image without verifying it forst as you have clearly done so and

I suggest you use the torrent to download the image as torrents also add
extra error checking (but slightly more data overhead) to the data. This
can help you get a decent download.
