Question #79142 on Ubuntu changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/79142
actionparsnip proposed the following answer: You will need to replace /cdrom with wherever your CD is mounted, most likely /media/cdrom0 You will also need to change <path to install> to the actual path you wish to use e.g. sudo mkdir /usr/share/games/wolfenstein/ sudo mkdir /usr/share/games/wolfenstein/main ID software kick a lot of ass at supporting Linux, shame many other developers don't. Doom3 also runs in the same fashion and has its own installer, also made by ID software. -- You received this question notification because you are a member of UF Unanswered Posts Team, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
