Question #78766 on Ubuntu changed: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+question/78766
Tom proposed the following answer: Yes, LiveCd it to add a new partition at the very front of your drive. Just a tiny Primary Partition of 1.5Gb and set it's "file-system" to "linux-swap". Please let us know what GPartEd shows in it's bottom half where all the addresses and values are written. So we get sda2 1.5Gb Primary Partition for 'file-system' = linux-swap unallocated sda1 large Primary Partition with all your data on it so no changes to this one Thanks, good luck and regards from Tom :) -- You received this question notification because you are a member of UF Unanswered Posts Team, which is an answer contact for Ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntuforums-unanswered More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
