You may laugh at me or think I'm crazy but that was one of the tricks on techniques that I have used in the past to help Lubuntu to gain a wide and international popularity and it's time to do that for Ubuntu GNOME, my new home :) Ubuntu GNOME on DistroWatch.com which is the #1 site that has all the names of all Linux Distributions and more. http://distrowatch.com/ Ubuntu GNOME now on #23 on the homepage of DistroWatch for their Page Hit Ranking: Yes, I'm aware of: http://distrowatch.com/dwres.php?resource=popularity What I'm talking about here is: We could use this to our own good and take advantage of it to attract more people to our system. What we need to do is super simple: Click on this link daily: http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=ubuntugnome That is all :) This is one of the marketing tricks that we could use and yes, it worked for me in the past. With the next cycle, this team will have a massive work to do. This team will promote for Ubuntu GNOME like no other Community within Ubuntu Family have ever done.
