Although lightdm is mentioned here the fix would actually be
display-manager agnostic. Also note in the "Install" case,
ubiquity-dm is used as
the display manager (not lightdm/gdm).

Best to wait a bit longer. I tried the latest Ubuntu images (20150421.1)
and they have yet another ubiquity problem:
