I posted a variation on this along with a full-text logo concept over in the "Gubuntu as project name" bug. Here is it again for simplicity. The logo you uploaded (especially the dark one) has some issues with anti- aliasing. Also I feel that the r should stick out a bit more to the right so it doesn't blend in too well with the g. What ya' think?
