I had this problem too till two weeks ago. I don't know what fixed it.
A workaround was to use the restore button (the one between minimize and close) 
and expand the window, because (at least in my case) the problem only happens 
in full screen.
btw, what version of netbeans do you use?

  netbeans - mouse is not on the right place

Bug description:
  It's kind of difficult to explain in words, therefore i attached a picture: 
If you click on the menu "Help" instead the menu "Team" is shown up. This is 
the same for all menus in netbeans, you always have to put your mouse a little 
bit to the right to acess the menu-items you want to point at. 
  This does not appear on the "Ubuntu Classic" session, only in the Gnome 
Shell, therefore I suppose this bug belongs here and not to netbeans.
