By the way, we have a theme that is just the ugr background from the main theme, and nothing more. You can install and use this by running: sudo apt-get install plymouth-theme-ugr-logo plymouth-set-default-theme --list
We shold get a theme that is just a small/ simple ugr logo and the progress bar. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Team UGR, which is subscribed to plymouth-theme-ugr. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/785776 Title: Create a less "fancy" theme Status in UGR plymouth bootsplash theme(s): New Bug description: Hello, let's start saying thank you for your work. Now, I'd suggest to create a (much...) simpler theme for UGR. Gnome is simplicity and elegance (and Gnome user love that), so please, I hope you will rethink UGR branding accordingly. Current theme is a bit too... "screaming" (think to a tuned car, and you'll get what I mean...). See what Ubuntu and Fedora do, I think is the right track. To be clear: I don't want to be unrespectful, that is only my point of view. Thank you again. -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntugnometeam Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntugnometeam More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
