Stupid me, I installed Ubuntu 8 on an old laptop that I then put away for a while. Now I can't get into it because I don't have the name/ password combination.
Is there a way around this or do I have to reinstall? If I have to reinstall, that's ok, but can I reinstall it on top of the old installation or do I need to uninstall the old one first?
