Thank God for SuSE!

I had SuSE 11.x running on my notebook. Copied the entire directory
tree over to my USB drive from my desktop running Ubuntu. It appears
there were several directories that Evolution gave bad names to. I
actually needed those messages too!

Created a new account in Evolution under SuSE, then copied directory
tree from USB drive to home folder on SuSE. I'm able to function
again!

I nuked the .evolution directory on my workstation, restarted
Evolution, shut evolution down, then copied the directory tree from
USB to home folder on Ubuntu. I'm able to function here now as
well...sans the folders with messages I really needed.
