I do have Gnome, KDE, and XFCE installed on the same computer (sorry if I did not state this clearly, I like a little variety). When I am using Gnome and KDE I have been able to Read and Write files on my NTFS partitions. Last night I looked at /media/ while in XFCE and did not see my NTFS partitions there. I will work on /etc/fstab tonight because I went there last night and did not see the NTFS partitions listed there, I'm guessing that Gnome and KDE show the NTFS partitions anyway to make it easy when you want to mount them. Is that correct? I really appreciate the responses.
